It's just beautiful, Rita! You are right, those daffs are really putting out the bling!!

I am just super pleased with all of them but I especially like the way those daffs look in the belgium block mini teraces along the front. This fall I want to get more daffs and put them along top there in amounst the foot of the shubs on top of the terraces. And Also I want to add some along at the very foot of those belgium block terraces so that the area in daffs is increased. I though of doing that last fall when I put in the daffs but I just couldn't do any more. Took me over a week to get all my bulbs planted as it was.

I bet your neighbors love it too and can't wait to see what is blooming next.

Really impressive !! What are all the black trellis used for ? They don't look like they would hold large climbing roses....but what do I know :) I am always on the lookout for ideas. Where did you get them ? I love love your garden !!! c

The trellis have honeysuckle vines on them which bloom for me all summer. Can't remember were I bought them, just that I ordered them on line.

Those are really beautiful, Rita. Your yard is so cheerful and I really like the way your daffodils are very closely planted. I can't wait to see pics of all those tulips. Mine are all but gone. Just the Lady of the Night tulips which had a re-bloom, but these second tulips are much smaller than the first...stil, it is re-bloom.

It all looks amazing Rita. I thought I posted on here last night but apparently I didn't hit the submit button. What can I say, ooooold age! lol! Your daffs look great on the terraces. Your tulips will be blooming before you know as well as the roses and daylilies. When do you start getting rose blooms? Whatever is growing on the trellis is busting out all over too. Springtime in your gardens are simply beautiful and all your hard work really shows. Judy

Everyone in the neighborhood knows my garden as I have lots of walkersby going on. Dog walkers too.

Judy- You did post as I have a very similiar thread on the Daylily forum. The sequence of pictures and most captions are the same but mostly I used just a slightly different picture as I take alots of pictures so had many I could use. Didn't want to make it EXACTLY the same LOL!

The roses here have their spring flush early June. And it looks absolutely amazing. The front yard roses stop traffic. Once I had a wedding party stop and take pictures of the bride and groom directly in front of the roses. Remember they are right up against the sidewalk so no permission needed to take pictures, anyone can stand there.

Thats cool having a wedding party stop and take pictures. Everyone was telling me my daughter should get married in our back yard this past spring but I was already waaaaay over stressed getting the wedding planned that I didn't need the extra stress of getting the yard juuuuust perfect. I am OCD bad apparently, so says the hubby, so I thought it best we have it at another location and let them worry about the landscape. lol! I didn improve on their landscape by adding some extra blooming flowers that I was able to take home and enjoy after the wedding. OK, didn't mean to ramble. Its all gorgeous Rita. Judy

Boy Rita, all that hard work you put in last fall has really paid off. What a wonderful display of springtime beauties. You must do the happy-dance every time you wander your yard! Beautiful!!

Stunning, Rita! I can't help but wonder though what you have in there during summer when the daff and tulip leaves are turning yellow? Do you have further plans for these beds?

Well, those daffs and tulips are new this fall but I always have plans. The by the trellis garden had daylilies last year which I moved out so I could do the spring bulbs. I plan to put zinnias up there for the summer. But I see I have the bulbs planted so thickly that I might have to wait for the folliage to start to die down. Not to worry, I will figgure it out. I Have to start the zinnia seeds myself anyway and since I have no greenhouse or growlights, I have to wait until its warm to start my seeds outside.

Then the other side, I only had those belgium block terraces put in late last summer. Before that I did not have the daffs there. I had zinnias planted on what was a slope. I intend to plant zinnias in there were the daffs are after they fade. It would be about the same general area I had zinnias before and it should look smashing.

The tulips between the daylilies are new too but the daylilies will take over later. Then the daffs by the walkway have roses behind them which take over for summer bloom.

That's just gorgeous. All the work you have done is really showing off now.

Beautiful! Do you know approx. how many daff bulbs you planted? I haven't tried bulbs before and would love to start in the fall.

100 in that first picture. 50 on each side of the frontyard walkway to make 100. 200 in those pictures along in the belgium block mini terraces. Plus more in other areas of the yard.
