Not that far off now!! Gosh thanks for the reminder. I have barely been out in my yard this winter its been so unhospitable. I did go scratching around today though. Maybe within the next month weather will be good enough to dig a few things. See you there!

Free Stuff Many gardeners generously share plants from the abundance of their gardens--An excellent way to begin your garden. There is always a pile of plants free for the taking at the swap. In pots or bare root. The Green Elephant is convenient for trading bare root plants. Simply dig and divide perennials bare root to trade. They are dormant and can be transplanted with no shock. Take a walk in our beautiful memorial garden Visit the grass labyrinth; the crocus should be in full bloom. What if I have nothing to bring to the trade? The swap is a great place to start your garden. Many traders love to help new gardeners get started. Come and ask questions, get advice, schmooze a little and youÂll walk away with some goodies. Thank you, Jim ... for hosting us, providing compost, pots, & showing us an easy way to root cuttings. I'm glad I had the seeds you wanted & look forward to a seedling in June. Thanks to those who came with an assortment of cuttings especially the evergreens! It was well worth the time to attend once again even if I didn't plant a single seed. Those cuttings commanded my full attention. Great tip from Jim to put on the north side of the house to give more rooting time in late spring.
