These are the plants I have ready now for the Olympia trade. Most I already posted under Tammy's post.....but some more have been added. If anyone wants any let me know.

Palmtree and Corrine..I have yours set aside. Sorry Corrine..the black Elderberry cuttings did not survive.

Sorry for the time it took to respond - I thought I couldn't make the swap, but now it's possible. Bejoy, I will bring the viburnum for you, and corrine, I'll bring the persicaria.

I dug up some more plants on our only decent day this weekend (sob), helianthus and lysimachia punctata 'Alexandra'. Both plants are not for the faint of heart I admit.

Directions to the Olympia Spring Trade: From north of Olympia, take I-5 to Exit 109. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Martin Way, then immediately begin moving left into the left turn lane (either one). At the light, turn left onto College Street. From south of Olympia, take I-5 Exit 109. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Martin Way. Continue straight, go under the freeway, then move into the left turn lane. At the light, turn left onto College Street. Follow College Street for approximately 3.6 miles (in the traffic circle, take 2nd exit) to the Yelm Highway (Safeway is on the left). Turn left onto the Yelm Highway. On the Yelm Highway, get in the right lane. At the intersection with Ruddell Road, turn right onto Ruddell Road (Ruddell Road and Yelm Highway are the same road for a couple hundred feet here) On Ruddell Road, bear left in the curve to continue on the Yelm Highway. If you pass the school on your right, you're on the right track. Continuing straight, pass the AmTrak station below and to your left. Continue straight to Spurgeon Creek Road (there's a gas station that keeps changing hands at the intersection. Currently, I believe it's a Texaco). Turn right onto Spurgeon Creek Road. Follow Spurgeon Creek Road to 80th. Turn right onto 80th, and go up the hill past the Fire Station. The clubhouse is at the top of the hill, and there will be a sign there directing you to the ballfield, about a half-mile to the right. The address for the clubhouse is 8005-1 Thrulake Circle SE, in Olympia. There will be no bathroom facilities available at the ballfield, and I'm having trouble getting the Association to reply to my e-mails asking them to open the clubhouse bathrooms for the trade, so plan on no bathroom facilites available.

You are certainly welcome to come and get free plants - and advice and the company of really nice people. If you feel awkward about showing up empty-handed (no reason to), you can bring bakery treats, crafts items, foodstuffs, garden gadgets, etc. One guy used to bring honey. Another used to bring worm tea. Lots of people bring empty plant pots. One lady brought garden magazines 2 trades in a row, which were very popular. If you have used window blinds, people cut those up to use as labels. Just show up at the appointed time on the appointed date, and dive right in! I have a free pile, and that is a guilt-free zone. Take what you want, but want what you take. Please spread the word to all your friends, coworkers, customers, complete strangers, etc.

I'd love to have the blue elderberry! As I posted before, I don't yet know what I'll bring plant-wise (other than the worms).... would you like a big pile of Sunset magazines?!

Could you save me the orange geum? I hope that you can find something that you like. I dug some deer fern, if you are looking for ferns. So far no rain, so I'll be out digging again this morning.

I'd like your Hellebore Ivory Prince lookalike seedling & the Iris foetidissima. By the way will you have room in the truck for 2 large, heavy bags of the S.Grow? James can load it & you could break it down into smaller amounts.

Hi Marie, I got confused for a minute there and thought you were Tammy. (sheepish grin) Anyway, I already have your name on the tomato and the honeysuckle. The honeysuckle hasn't leafed out much yet, but I'm pretty sure it's alive. Hope it transplants ok.

I don't mind if people confuse me and Mom. We both end up with the same stuff eventually.

Treepalm, can I please have the deer fern? Surely Mom or I have something you would like in exchange.

Corrine, we'll take all the manure you can bring. The benefit of hosting the trade is that we can make as many trips as we need to take everything home. We usually make at least 2 trips with my truck, plus a couple of trips with a friends' car to get everything home after a trade.

Bejoy2, I'll put a deer fern aside for you. Your Mom is already bringing me plants and your bringing a cutting that I really want, so I hope that you find more stuff you want.
