Jolyene Nichole, she was one of my prettiest pinks last year and bloomed for weeks. I would recommend this one to anyone.

Pirate's Patch has been a favorite in my garden for 3 years. It just begs to be photograped and it usually has a nice group of blooms at one time.

All Fired Up, doesnt have as many blooms but the ones it has are so pretty and bright. They grab your attention.

Barbara Mitchell was one of my first daylilies. It was a bonus plant with my first purchase from a local grower and I've been in love with her for 9 years now.

All of the ones that I have listed are growing with gusto in my Mississippi clay so they are very easy to grow. You should enjoy having these.

I grow (or have grown) all of those you have listed, except for Smokey Mountain Autumn -- and the photos I've seen of that one are beautiful.

The only one I've given away was Barbara Mitchell -- I simply prefer more vibrant colors, and she didn't show much increase here.

Rags to Riches and Absolute Treasure are my favorites in the group.

Mauna Loa is my favorite orange. It just glows in my hot colors garden. Great increase and lots of blooms.

Pirates Patch - Pretty blooms, good branching and bud count, but very slow increase here.

Absolute Treasure - Large gorgeous blooms, slow increase, prone to get rust.

Is Barbara Mitchell peachy or pink? One of the reasons we selected Jolyene Nichole is for its beautiful color.

My Barbara Mitchell is more peach than pink. I've seen others that look more pink, so don't judge all BM's by mine. My soil has a huge tendency to throw any pastel pinks into the peach colors. (I have all my newer year pinks in pots so they are pink but I haven't tried putting any of them in my soil to see how they do. I'm going to try this one day.) AH HA! This could also be why my oranges are so ORANGE! Never occured to me before. So, old minds do have new thoughts.

This is one reason why I love Jolyene Nichole so much becasue it is PINK!

Rags to Riches is a beautiful orange/coral blend. I think you'll love it. Mine is planted next to Beyond Riches, and I like the color contrast. I wish my All Fired Up looked as good as the photo above -- I may need to move that one.

Have you grown Chestnut Mountain, Jedi Dot Pierce?
The pictures in tinker's garden shows Chestnut Mountain as beautiful orange and Jedi Dot Pierce as rosy pink. Do you have any comments on them?

Thanks for the good comments on AFU. The pic was taken last year, it's 3rd year in the ground. There's just something about the 3rd year blooms being their best. I will admit, I was amazed that I took a picture that was so pretty. I give all the Glory to God and my Cannon camera with a tripod! Thanks yall, Mona

Sunstar - In my garden, Chestnut Mountain is yellow with a cinnamon colored overlay toward the edges. It's a very vigorous daylily and the blooms have a lot of substance. It will look great with Rags To Riches and All Fired Up.

I don't have Jedi Dot Pierce but I've seen it growing in other people's gardens where it was a rose pink.

This is the first time we have ordered from Sunset Meadows. Their customer service is really great. Last spring we ordered some daylilies from Oakes and they all bloomed immediately after planting.
Hope the daylilies from Sunset Meadows will bloom this year. Eagerly waiting for the order to arrive.

I received my order from Sunset Meadows yesterday and so far I am happy with the plants. They were of a good blooming size and looked healthy although I think they were probably in the mail a little longer than I would have liked. I planted some and potted up the rest. So far so good.

They sent me two bonuses instead of the one I thought I was getting. What a nice surprise! Hope they all bloom this year.

We received our plants from Sunset Meadows on May 1st. We have planted them all next day. Except 4 all others were blooming size fans with good roots. All Fired Up, Rags to Riches and Smoky Mountain Autumn, Mauna Loa were smaller fans. Most of them were double fans and some were two single fans. The smaller ones were little stressed. We are not sure whether they will bloom this year. They had sent two bonus plants as per our suggestion.

All of mine are doing really well except for one. For some reason Ida's Magic looks exactly as it did when I got it a few weeks ago. No new growth. It is in a pot and I have moved it into the shade since the temps here have been unforgiving lately. Hopefully it will perk up soon.

On the other hand, Autumn Jewels has taken off and hopefully will bloom this year.

I sent several hours at this website yesterday. Her pictures are magnificent and the comments about performance over the years is very educational. She has several photos of Rags to Riches which shows extraordinary variation in color. You won't be wasting your time by going there. What a garden!

I grow smokey mountain and LOVE the color! The color is a rosy lavender blend. It doen't increase well for me, and the bud count isn't real high but the color and shape make up for it! Im going to move it this year and see if i can improve on the increase.
