HAVE: heliconia rhizomes

bihai

I have heliconia rhizomes to trade for pond accent plants. I would be interested in things like bromeliads, philodendrons, variegated rushes, lotus tubers, gingers, agaves, anthuriums, rice paper plant, colocasia, alocasia, xanthosoma, make an offer!

I am discontinuing some plants from my greenhouse due to space limitations. I want to construct a new area for anthuriums, philodendrons, orchids, palms and bromeliads across the back wall, and need to remove some plants.

The varieties I am removing are:

Heliconia bihai "Banana SPlit"

H. psitticorum x spathocircinata "Tropica"

H. latispatha "Road Runner"

H. latispatha "Red-Orange Gyro"

H. pendula "Red Waxy"

Heliconias are zone 9B-11 plants, but they can be grown and bloomed in containers in cooler zones. Latispathas will bloom in more adverse conditions, can take overall cooler temps (ie more 40's, not freezes).
