So this year, thanks to a couple trades and my first year winter sowing, I successfully gotten 3 containers of seedlings. My plan is to cover a hillside corner completely with Hello Yellow (whether they are yellow or a range of orange and yellow, we will see as a nice surprise!) as a transition between two hillside gardens I also planned out! Unfortunately, two containers are planted and it seems I'm a little short! lol so looking for seeds too start next year to fill in the bottom!! i suspect that most people who have trouble growing asclepias are guilty of dandling & over-fertilizing it. that's the only explanation i have, given how abundantly mine reseeds and how vigorously they grow. mine live in pots in sunny spots and never get watered or fed... i think they need well-drained soil (no problem!), lots of sun, and no attention. TRYING to grow them might be your problem... try NOT to grow them! i'm growing some interesting varieties from seed the first time this year.
