White Flower Farm Catalog
Comments (19)This year i ordered many catalogs. Not that I am going to buy anything, just to drool over them and also to justify all the jug/bottle mess I have created in the backyard and tell DH, see how beutiful plants are and see much each of those plants would have cost if I had bought from catalog. Don't know if it is going help, but I am preparing for the big surprise (shock???) he is going to get this weekend when he will be back and first time see all my adventure! I will print White Flower Farm online version. This has amazing pictures and good prices to show :D...See MoreB&L Begonias at White Flower Farm
Comments (2)Those are beautiful. I am trying to decide if I should buy any because they are so pricey but I might just do it based on this picture :)...See MorePoor Rose from White Flower Farm
Comments (13)I recently got 4 roses from White Flower, Princesse Charlene de Monaco, Above & Beyond, Sweet Fragrance and Rose At Last. The first 3 arrived - Rose At Last is on its way. My Charlene has 3 canes and looks much like Anne's. I think this may just be a spindly specimen. Above & Beyond and Sweet Fragrance look really good - see photos. Don't know what the last rose will look like, but mine are all healthy and have just potted them and I expect them to grow well. I think that probably all the Charlene roses will look like this. I'll bet that if you pot it up and baby it a bit, it will grow just fine. Mine will stay in a fairly large pot this year - hopefully it will survive and be able to be planted in the ground next fall. This is a really pretty rose, no one else carries it so I am happy to have it and will be optimistic it will do well. I did order a daylily at the same time as the roses, and it wasn't much to look at. I get far better specimens on the Daylily Auction but it was one I wanted that few daylily nurseries carry. However, its planted and doing well so eventually, it should do fine. Though Charlene is small, she is healthy and I was very pleased with my other 2 roses. Hope your Charlene will grow and do well for you!...See MoreWhite Flower Farm
Comments (12)My 2 bulbs from White Flower Farm finally made it, they arrived yesterday and they look fine. I was so afraid that they might freeze and although the bulbs were extremely cold I guess by now I'd see the signs if they were wouldn't I ? so.. I think they will be fine. This was the largest Chico I've ever seen!! The skin was so tight I couldn't even peel it!! It rook 7 days from Connecticut to arrive but now that that trauma is over I'm thinking I just might bite the bullet and order a Bogota from them!! ETGB is selling papilios instead of Bogota so I wonder if these bulbs all come from the same distributor? I guess I'll watch the weather and then decide. I can never just leave well enough alone, why is that!!! :-))))...See Moreginny12
