I was flipping through the latest issue of Country Gardens and noticed as well. I'm sure it's the same Regina that posts here. The garden layout, Minnehaha roses, everything matches her beautiful pictures.

Which issue is it? I have Fall and Summer 2008, and can't find the article.

It's in the latest issue, Early Spring 2009. The article is "Growing in Stages".

Ah, I have not received it yet. Guess it's on a way. Look forward to it - love the magazine! It's my first subscription, and I am planning on renewing it when the time comes. Great mag - articles and photos.

I love Regina's gardens, I remember in some post last year she said she would be in a magazine, so that's her. Gorgeous!

I wonder when my copy will arrive. Does anyone else remember when subscribers received their magazines first?

Hi everyone and thanks for the congrats. I knew the article would be out this spring but I didn't think the spring issue came out this early. You can imagine my surprise when I saw it at the store. It took two years to get the pictures and story completed and was a very positive experience. I met such nice people along the way. When I had my garden tour a few years ago one of the woman in the Garden Club sent one of my pictures to the magazine and they contacted me. I didn't want to have anything to do with it for many reasons but mostly because I'm a very private person but my husband who is the opposite, insisted. He was right.
I hope everyone is enjoying their winter. I've been quilting mostly every day on a quilt that I started last winter. I quilt by hand so it takes a long time but it can be quite meditative. Once spring comes, it's back to work and back to the garden. Regina

What a wonderful experience! It's strange you had to see it on the newsstand. When you're in a book, some publishers send you a complimentary copy.

Your gardens are beautiful and worthy of display for the whole country to see. Congratulations on a great garden.

I had my husband stop on the way home, in sub-zero temps, to buy a copy (full price!) and my only complaint is that they didn't show ENOUGH PICTURES of your garden! I wanted more, more, more...

You all do know that you can type Regina into the Forum Search Box and see Regina's last summer posts with those wonderful photos, don't you?

You can drool and forget that it is freezing outside, to your heart's content. I have.

Nell, thanks for that reminder. I just did that and had such a good time. Regina, your gardens are absolutely beautiful.
I loved all the roses...makes me want more in spite of that awful RRD. I took notes.......some great ideas for combinations there.

Congratulations on the magazine article. I would say you certainly deserved it.

I love your house, I thought it was much older...love that style. It just fits into the countryside perfectly.

I wish I'd seen this before we went to the grocery store today. I hope to pick up a copy this week. Congratulations Regina!

Congratulations Regina. I have saved the photos of your garden you have posted for inspiration in my own garden. The article was terrific. But, I enjoy your photography more than the professional photographer's!

I knew it! I thought when I saw the article that I knew that garden. I have bookmarked your Picturetrail albums and enjoy them. Congratulations its quite something to get a big article in a national magazine. I've had a couple little things (nothing like yours) published and they have always sent a complimentary copy.
