Agav;e power

A very large Agave inflorescence broke the heavy glass and found the unfriendly temperature outside at 6 degrees f. and essentially stopped elongating beyond what you see in the photo. The plant is doing well but seems to be unable to develop its flower even though it has been in the 50's for a few days. Yale

They will slow down or stop the bloom progress in colder weather, and resume when it warms up. They've evolved to do that very thing.

Looks like 1 faaaaaabulous glasshouse, any photos of the inside and all the lovely plants who live there?

    Yale,

I agree with the aforementioned tease - let's see the greenhouse, please.

Love the size of the greenhouse. Hopefully, the cold doesn't kill the inflo before spring. Which agave is in bloom?
