citrus pics :) just thought I would share a few

Lots have been showing their pics latly so I thought I would share mine.

These are my key lime seedlings, about 7 months old, and growing faster than most weeds. Very happy to see them growing and become to look more like a tree than the simple single branch twigs.

This is my trovita cutting... I am very proud of it. I was given teh cutting, well rooted, but almost killed it... went away and we had a heat spell and it... well. dried out a ton. Anyways, It has grown in 2 months, over 6 inches and multiple leaves. pretty exciting.

I know.. not a citrus... but... tis is my pom... its starting to drop all its leaves... scaring me, just hope its still alive. I KNOW they loose their leaves in our area... I got it without any leaves, just hard to see all those leaves drop.... and there are so very many of them.

this is a ponderosa lemon that ended up having a BIG haircut... I ended up having to cut 8-10" off the top of the tree ... Really excited that I get to see it come back, all sorts of branches forming everywhere and then some. Cant wait till it gets to really start to fill out and branch out more.

This is teh first cutting that I had to root. I was sent a few cutting from someone... unfortunatly they all died fast. this one cutting, got pushed in begind something and I couldnt believe it when I say it, it was still mainly green. NOW... it has leaves nad a good rooted system!!! Its a Bearrs Lime

Last pic.... its my pineapple and a bit of my dragon fruit int he background. The pineapple has grown, at least 7" since getting it in July. it just keeps growiing up like mad. I also have another pot with pineapple pupps in and theres at least 14 pupps now. Its way cool to see

West: Suggestions? You want suggestions? Tiffy and I would fill the front garden area with beautiful flowers, and we shamelessly lure unsuspecting victims to our obsession. Wintersow flowers for next to nothing. Required are empty milk jugs or other plastic containers with lids, potting mix, some cheap seeds (and we can direct you to some free seeds too...) For all those that urinate on their plants, it really pisses me off! Oh my Mercie!!lol Don't do that for fear you might get caught with your pants down. I have a couple of things you can do easier than that. Just do an Indian dance for rain every other day since rains pH is perfect and they will do fine. It has worked for me. Now I can't get it to stop raining..lol You should see how nice and green mine are now. Josh is right Merciepoo:-) Or, I should of told you that a long time ago that vinegar used correctly can enrich the color of your trees so much. You remember when mine use to be yellow? Using a capful of vinegar in my water has kept them a rich green for years. It naturally lowers the pH solution being applied to your acid loving plants and plants, well you can appreciate this, especially GARDENIA react very well to it. Mike

Hi Marricgardens , Seven Locks is really a lovely daylily . I really enjoy it . Yes , Flying Trapeze is actually more intense . It is a huge bloom and just radiates across the garden. Looking at the garden that it is in, your eye is automatically drawn to it .

Loving the cooler temperatures here--the plants love it too. I'm tired of baking in the high 80's and 90's but they are set to return to my area in a few days. It could stay in the low 70's all summer and I would be very happy!

my pics showed up on all sites the exact same way... just refuse to show here. FRUSTRATING.

Tomorrow going to try and get a few pics of my individual trees, just cause theres a few questions, plus, I want to have them to see the differences as they grow

lemon_dreams, nice pics...Fozzybeth mentioned to me that she was quite impressed with your ability to maintain your plants in the difficult conditions.... Was your Minneola and Lisbon in the pics?--I understand they have been quite vigorous for you. Nice pom and nice job on the Bearss too...never got one to root myself :)

Yep, they were in the pics, they would be on the left hand side of the pics showing the grouping of trees.

I find it way too easy to laugh as fozzybeth... way way too easy. shes just... lets say unique ;)

the Pom doesn't look so good anymore... it has lost 80% of its leaves now :( ahh, the mess will be soon over and all the remaining trees BETTER keep all their leaves!!! I am really worried about WLD. I am NOT wanting to go through it, but... being I have alrady moved them in, I should be ok I think. the leave drop is due to the change in temp, and then... I just hope I am ok on it. no bugs so far on any trees... so hoping to be safe!

Make sure fozzy beth knows how crazy I think she is, and how much I apreciate all she has done... and that I am waiting impatiently on haircuts hehehe

Yeah, I think Fozzybeth is a little nutty sometimes too... but have you met her? She is hot. Smokin' hot.

No, haven't had the pleasure to meet her... I think I might be a tad scared to. Might be nice to see what she looks like sometime. Only had chance to talk to her.

Pom cuttings died almost fast as I got them. heh. Be nice to try again someday. but, my one po, the big one sure is growing like a weed on steroids. Grew about 12" taller over the summer and at least 6-8 inches wider. I love the tree, now, to get it to fruit.

Rick - off topic I know. Last I talked to Fozzy, she'd stumbled on the info that I have Nepeta cataria in containers & asked that I send some. I have no home addy for her. If I can get it to you, can you forward it to her?
