Weekend Trivia -- Sunday

thinman

Let's have a question about a real mammal this time. Pongo pygmaeus can live about 50 years in the wild and 60 years in captivity. Females give birth once every four years, though the interval can be a lot longer if habitat is poor, and the babies are nursed for three to four years. The babies have no problem nursing upside down, and love to hitch rides with mom.

What is a Pongo pygmaeus?
