Everything looks great. I had those pink bells bloom last year on my devils backbone or Mom plant. I left the mother one in the ground too long and the blooms froze but I save the babies, lol.

Joyce..The pinkish color bells is Mother of thousands or millions. It puts off babies plants around the leaves.
Right now it's almost 6 ft.

Dorothy, I had no idea that mother of thousands looked like that. I don't guess I really ever knew exactly what kind of plant it was.. for some reason I thought it was a cactus... LOL. I am adding that to my want list !! Very beautiful. All your other blooms are beautiful as well. Thanks for sharing. ~Edna~

Eloise... The MG is a hardy type do not know the name. It never set seeds for me. I took some cutting before we had a freeze. It still has been blooming in the water.
I have planted 3 rooted cutting. Still have some that need planting. If you would like one in the spring email me. ;)

Edna and Joyce...The mother of thousands is a succulent. I have never had one to bloom like this before because the frost would get it before it had time to bloom.
I would save some young plants. But didn't have room for the big ones until I get the HG this year. I have penty of babies. Email me if you want some in the spring.

Your plants looks wonderful in your greenhouse. My plants in mine seem to look scraggly and just don't seem to be looking really lush right now. I'm a little discouraged.

Please dont worry and be discouraged. Mine is the same way. It was like this last year at this time. Everything is dormant and sleeping even in the heated gh. I believe it is our day length right now and not us. Around the end of febuary everything starts to wake up and say hey here I am where have you been. I promise it will get better as teh days get longer. Take care my garden buddy....I will email you later I know you are on Gw now I just wanted to write you to not worry....Barb

Lol. I have some babies I can share as well. Wish I would have saved the mother but no room left at the inn.

Well I be dog-gone, I learn something new everyday. I had a Mother of Thousands for years and I never once saw it bloom.

I guess I'll have to put that on my want list too. All your flowers look lovely and healthy. My small greenhouse is so full I couldn't get another plant in it if I tried. I can barely open it up as it is.

Dorothy, everything looks great! I thought those MOT blooms were some kind of Iochroma! they are beautiful! I looked it up & it says it takes about 2 yrs. to bloom & then the plant dies.
Will yours die?

Theresa I had put the MOT on my got to have list and already got a e mail started lol. Then you come along and say the DIE after blooming What a cruesome end to a beautiful beginning lol

I wonder if that will happen to yours Dorothy. I surely hope not! That one just looks amazing!!

Hey Teresa...I don't know LOL I guess I need To look it up also.
I have 5 blooming now but all the pots have lots of baby's.
My plants I got from Susan this pass year.
Usually I grow as annuals because I never had a place for them over the winter.
Just saving a few baby's. They do not have to bloom to put off baby's.
They are interesting plants even without flowers.

The blooms last a long time. It's been about a month and they are still going strong!
Even if the die this coming year will be the 2nd year for the baby's so I guess I will still have blooms this coming Fall.

Looks great. I have some Mother of millions in a Spanish dagger patch (natives). Transplanted on to a pot laid in the sun all summer never watered. So this fall I decided to give the poor plant a good spot in the ground. It is now a show off and has not quit blooming..

I'm working on my greenhouse. All these beautiful pictures of plants in the greenhouse.

Dorothy you must be going out to the GH all the time if it has been blooming for so long wow.

All I know is that if I ever want to not have to start from scratch with most plants, DH HAS TO let me have my way and get a greenhouse!

My P&C has a couple of blooms and a pod but that is it..LOL
PB still won't let me load pic's so I guess you will just have to use your imagination..Somehow Winter pic's are almost better than Summer ones...
