OT: Brindei Holiday Greetings!

It is getting a bit cold here so Brindei put her hat and coat on and is now in the Holiday Spirit! Her two older sisters are not quite there yet so you might see them later on.

Joyce the wishes will come tomorrow with a pics. But for now I just got to tell you that I am going to be hounded again rofl.

Thank you for your warm greetings to Fendi. We love her already! She is very sweet. Brindei played with her last night but today did not want to. I think we were all cranky as Fendi serenaded us most of the night. She does not like her crate, but will have to get used to it at night as that is how I potty train. Her color is called black mask red brindle. I really like her colors. Mike as for toys that wasn't even a beginning. She has tons and of course I keep buying her more. Yes.. I know about the plants. Five years ago when Brindei was a puppy she re-landscaped my yard. She ripped most of the plants out and dug her own swimming pool! LOL!!! Fendi won't be out in the yard without me watching her every second. Lucy, the way she is laying down is called a frog pose. This is the first Afghan I have had that lays like that. Many Afghans do. They also sleep upside down with their legs in the air. Thanks again for your warm wishes! Joyce

Dorothy...I was out shopping tonight, but not for Christmas gifts!!! I needed potting soil for my brugs....the roots are wanting soil! It is hard to find soil this time of year. *************************WE HAVE A WINNER OF ALEINA & BRINDEI'S BIRTHDAYS!!! AMELIA!!! Congratulations!!!! The birthdays are March 9, 10. Aleina was born in 1992 and Brindei in 2004. My two heart dogs only born one day apart. Thank you all for playing! You did a great job learning about Afghan Hounds. Maybe next year when my brug cuttings flower and grow we can do a game with them. I hope I will know much more about them by then. We seniors do very well in Australia. We are regarded as pioneers in helping build the country and are reaping the benefits! Lots of perks and I get a booklet that tells me where I can get discounts at shops etc. I always ask if I can get a senior discount in any case as not all are listed. I find the free travel on buses, trains and ferries in the non-peak periods and all day at weekends and Public Holidays so handy for getting about and we get an annual free return travel voucher to anywhere in my State. I also get an annual cash handout from the State Government paid into my bank account along with the Federal Government age pension as well as reduced rates on the telephone and electrical bills. Almost worth being old!

thats cute! I wanted to get a hat for my Daisy, but she would just chew it up, lol. She ate her harness, several collars, leashes, forget about the toys. Kongs don't even last with her..she destroys them in a couple days.

LOL She really is very human looking. Do all Afghans have the tufts of fur mid snout? I don't think I've ever noticed that before.

Thanks for all of your comments and greetings. It is interesting to hear the things you say and what you see when you look at Brindei.
They actually like the cold and she doesn't wear a coat except for pictures! LOL!!!
Daniella...your Daisy sounds like a hoot! Mine aren't even interested in a kong no matter what I put in it!!!
Santa Paws doesn't know what to get her this year. She is getting too fat and is not thrilled with toys anymore.
Karyn, that is a good question and I might use it on the Afghan game we are playing on the list!
