Lawn weeds/moss or something else?
Comments (9)So you sprayed weed killer 5 days in a row????? Certainly not a recommended practice. What did you use? Weed killer takes a while to start working. It usually takes 2 weeks for death, but you should see weeds curling and discoloring after a week. Weed killers are most effective when weeds are actively growing, so they take longer with cooler temps, and during periods of no rain....See MoreHow to kill grass and weeds in moss lawn
Comments (14)Also for weeds in areas like walks and gravel paths...1 gallon of white vinegar 2 cups Epsom salts 1/4 cup of dawn blue liquid soap. mix well in a canister sprayer spray early morning weeds deed by night. also on large areas like driveways buy a torch from home depot or the place I linked below along with a propane tank like you use on your outdoor grille and just burn them away. Roundup is just a terrible terrible product!!! Highly toxic kills wildlife causes illness such as cancer to humans, pets and woodland creatures. Comments (5)Weeding the Moss Garden: The two hand method works well for most weeds that can be pulled out. Place one hand flat on the ground with the weed between 2 fingers and pull with the other hand. For grass, briars and weeds with strong roots, I cut them off at ground level with scissors. With no leaves to make food for the plant, the roots eventually die. You may have to cut back the same plant 2 or 3 times, but it doesn't tear up the moss and actually goes much faster than weeding and repairing. Happy weeding......jjane...See MoreDealing with weeds AND moss
Comments (1)Application at the same time shouldn't be a problem in most cases. I'm assuming the moss killer is a solid granule, and probably iron (ferrous sulfate). If it's a spray, you should leave a few days between applications for the first one to work before applying the second....See MoreRelated Professionals
