Good morning everyone, first off I think this is the day Nancy is having her knee surgery, I'm thinking of you Nancy, hoping for a successful surgery and a fast recovery.

I think I might have an idea as to the answer of today's trivia, I have a couple of pieces Fenton glass which include this element.

Uuurrgghh, I think I'm wrong DH thinks it may be something else going by the second clue, I also have quite a bit of this colored glass. Even the inside of my oven is almost this color :).

I am almost certain I know this. Actually, I think it was banned in glassware in USA, at least for a while.

I use it in lots of ceramic glazing, as well as in my stained glass work.

I'm pretty sure I know this one too. There is an additional clue in the middle of the name of the vitamin.

Was pretty sure I had it w/the Chevy car model and glass hints, but Annette's oven color sewed it up ..... yep, same color as mine! :o)

Definitely not a chem major here, in HS I loved biology, knew I'd hate chem, and took physics only because I had to have a second science and because there were lots of boys in the class! LOL

I love this color and have a collection of Bing & Grondahl plates. I also like the chinese inspired china and pottery that is white with this color.

I think I was hit with the stupid stick recently. I know these are all good clues, but the brain is mush.

Move over and make room for me Cyn, my brain wasn't in gear when I answered this morning, DH guessed it from the third clue not the second. I can see what dawiff was getting at when I reread the second clue. Originally I thought it was gold but obviously it isn't it's ...... .

I was thinking silver (as in Silverado, ha ha!) until I saw dawiff's clue - soooo the color would be blue?

I bought some really pretty charms of pressed flowers in stained glass at a craft show. One of the charms had red glass, and the man told us it had gold in it. He does very pretty work, and he grows all his flowers.

BBH, the color is blue, but a certain type of blue. And the clue is NOT in the cyano- part of the name.

It looks like everyone has been holding back to let the guessing go on as long as possible. How very nice of you all!

Thanks for the stars TM but it's DH who got it right, I only twigged later so maybe just two stars for me. I have a couple of pieces of ruby glass, that's why gold came immediately to mind. I should have read the clues a little more carefully. LOVE these trivia weekends, so fun.
