getting half-drowned plant going again

I have a 4 year old grapefruit in a pot, that was happily putting out new leaves on new branches, in its sunny spot outside in my front yard.

I left it alone for a week, during which it was very rainy. When I came back, the pot was soggy with water, and almost all the leaves had turned yellow.

All the leaves except for the bottom branches have since fallen off.

Should I prune the plant back? Give it iron?

I need to get it going again, because it comes inside in September, for its long winter indoors!
