Ponderosa Lemon progression (pics)

Hello, all!

Many of you have seen this Ponderosa Lemon sent to me by Meyer Mike.

Many of you have also read the narrative of woe that has befallen this poor little tree....

and here I was trying to grow the tree well so that I could show Mike the blooms on one

of his babies on the other side of the Nation.

A quick re-cap of the journey to recovery...

January 7th, I received the tree and made a hasty mix of screened Fir Bark, Pumice, pea gravel,

turface, perlite, Dolomitic lime, and a small amount of osmocote.

During the Winter, the tree was knocked over in its pot and had to re-establish its roots...

It then took about 4-months before I saw signs of life. But the first blooms were destroyed by

a heavy rainstorm this Spring. The tree just couldn't catch a break!

Finally, with enough roots beneath it, the Ponderosa recently pushed out leaves and blooms.

I was so happy that I took several pictures of my first citrus bloom (of any variety).
