trailing variegated P. Afra

I went browsing through a new nursery today and found a lovely (albeit VERY overpriced) Variegated P. Afra. It was in a hanging basket & I almost missed it! It's leaves look like minty candy =) It has a lovely draping habit that the one I already own does not have.

The one I had at home is very upright and grows in a funny orderly fashion like a Christmas tree or a big letter 'A' LOL. This one is faaaar more fascinating to me.

I can see how he'd make a lovely cascade but the way he's growing now is pleasing too. I think I'll split the difference and find a pretty & tall pot to re-pot in gritty mix so he can keep trailing.

He was devoid of labels, can someone confirm his ID? Is he trailing because it's his habit or is it because of some other cultural or environmental factor?
