I just got home from the longest, most stressful day at work to find a package from my SS on the porch :)

Threas thank you so much! I love everything!! :) I can't post a picture until I get to the office tomorrow because the home computer is too slow, but here is what she sent:

Passiflora Morifolia, Pink Ice Plant, Basket Plant, Moses in a Boat, Passiflora Amethystina x Caruela, Clerodendrum Ugandense (those have the prettiest flowers! I can't wait for it to bloom)

Brug cuttings of:

Isabella, Maya, Suzie Q, Coral Glow, S. Pink, Double Peach, Candidia and Cupids Blush

AND... All of these other goodies:

Really cute crystal candle holder with a bunch of yummy smelling candles, a nice x-mas card, this neat 'Plant Twistee' thing that is going to be very useful!, Avon lip moisturizer, lovely purple gloves, Avon hand creme, Nail Polish, LOTS of great seeds that I can't wait to plant, Avon skin so soft satin glow (how did you know I needed a tan? lol), and a cute 2008-2009 Planner (I have been needing one!)

Thanks again Threas!! That was such a great surprise to come home to!! I am going to go look up all the brugs now to see what the flowers will look like :) I'll post the pic tomorrow morning! :)

Meyer Lemons are on the high end of the lemon pH, so if lemons range around 2.6pH, a Meyer will range around 2.65. There is tremendous variability, even within the same type of fruit, depending upon soil, growing conditions and degree of ripeness. So, for example, an underripe Meyer would in all likelihood have a lower pH than a dead-ripe Eureka. Certainly you can add some vinegar, though I'd tend to go with bottled lemon juice in this one. I'm just not comfortable taking any risks with pumpkin, which is also quite variable as to pH and water activity. Carol

I read a post she had for plants and asked if she wanted to swap with me. She said I really did not have anything she was looking for but to let her know what I wanted and she would do postage. I said sure and I asked for 3 or 4 plants. She sent me a med flat rate crammed full of plants, all packed very nicely. She had said it would take her a couple weeks to get it together well before I could put the postage in the mailbox my box had arrived. I would highly recomd her to anyone and would trade with her anytime. Thanks So Much!!

Sounds like you received a SS box just chock full of delightful goodies. So many pretty plants, brugs and so many neat things. Isn't it fun to look up the photos of new baby bruggies? That's the first thing I do when I get new ones :) Plant Twistee??? Can't wait to see the pics. Wonderful SS box.

Tiffany with ALL those goodies it will keep your days happy and bright for a long time to come. Hope that when you have tuff days and take a look at your gifts from Theresa, that it will push the bad stuff in your heart out of the way and make room for the joy that just MUST overcome you every time you look at the gifts of the heart from our garden buddies. SS or not. I love you guys!
