Container plants should not be watered according to a calender, but on an 'as needed' basis. If the soil feels dry when you dig your fingers into it, then you need to drench your plant. If it still feels cool and damp, then you can probably wait.

A very dry plant will wilt. Chronically under watered plants will begin to shut down their biological systems, drop leaves and go into decline.

Many things can determine the watering frequency: kind of potting medium, the kind of container, size of plant in relation to the container, amount of sunlight, temperature, humidity, etc.
