She has Kaffir lime tree. I purchased one from her last year and it's now bearing fruits :) JRN Nursery is on Breen Rd. (SH 249 & Antoine). Link is below. Here's a quick way to get there. Traveling down from I-45, take the Beltway 8 exit and go West. On Antoine, turn left and go all the way toward SH 249. On SH 249, turn left and keep the right lane to Breen. Turn right on Breen and the nursery is on your left. If you come, I advise that you should only bring as much money as you intend to spend. Otherwise, all will be gone. I'm serious, this place looks small on the outside, until you go in... way in... and... can't find your way out. She carries Orchids and Bonsai too. The tree would be a seedling. We grow these in 4"X14" tall pots and wholesale them for $9.00. Dwarf trees are on Trifoliate rootstock (Flying Dragon) Were one of the only three left in the State that grows Citrus from seeds, everyone else just imports them from out of state.. As it turns out were the only Nursery in the State that grows Deciduous Fruit Trees at all, no one else seems to want to anymore. The only items I have on the site are the #15 containers I never seem to have the time to get all the liners added.

Kaffir seeds and young seedlings need to be kept pretty warm to germinate and grow; it's easy for me here in the tropics in Guatemala; I just put the seeds in nursery soil in starter trays 2 inch diameter and about 4 inches deep, put them in the sun, water daily, and they sprout in about 2 weeks.. An interesting tidbit about the Kaffir lime, called Makrout in Afrika and some other areas...in my travels in the world to places where citrus have been totally devastated by HLB disease, only the Kaffir lime seems unaffected. The experts don't recognize that any citrus is resistant to HLB; but seeing is believing. My experience leads me to believe that maybe the variety is not resistant if infected but it could be that the ACP (Asian Citrus Psyllid) vector just doesn't like the taste of the Kaffir.

Until you correctly identify the culprit causing the problem, you can't possibly know how best to treat!! And be very careful about using ANY organophosphates (Malathion) indoors. My guess is also some sort of mollusk - slug or snail. Most of the damage is not that recent as it is showing brown or necrotic tissue along the cut edges. And they disappear into the moist soil during the day so unless you take the approach TJ suggested above, chances are you will never see them.
