Force branching or leave it be? (pic included)

I just received my first Improved Meyer's Lemon, a 2 year old plant from Park Seed. I wasn't expecting very good quality since I skimped on price ($22.95), so I was pleasantly surprised to get what looks like a strong, healthy plant with plenty of large, thick leaves. I had to look several times, to be honest, because it looks almost plastic! :-)

Here's my new tree:

There are a few small yellow spots on the leaves, you can sort of see that in this picture (with one of my dogs peering through):

I figure that's due to a nutrient deficiency, and should right itself with proper care.

What I'm wondering about though is whether I should lop off the top to make it branch, or if it will start branching eventually on it's own? I know that pruning can set back flowering, but since it's only 2, it probably won't fruit yet anyways, right? Any comments or suggestions on whether to start cutting or leave the poor thing alone? I'll be potting it up this weekend, so I have a few days to think about it.
