You cannot know if that is a bad lawn or not. It's dormant. Here are the 1-2-3 steps of lawn care. Water deeply and infrequently. Deeply means at least an hour in every zone, all at once. Infrequently means monthly during the cool months and no more than weekly during the hottest part of summer. If your grass looks dry before the month/week is up, water longer next time. Deep watering grows deep, drought resistant roots. Infrequent watering allows the top layer of soil to dry completely which kills off many shallow rooted weeds. Mulch mow at the highest setting on your mower. Most grasses are the most dense when mowed tall. Bermuda, centipede, and bent grasses are the most dense when mowed at the lowest setting on your mower. Dense grass shades out weeds and uses less water when tall. Dense grass feeds the deep roots you're developing in 1 above. Fertilize regularly. I fertilize 4 times per year using organic fertilizer. Which fertilizer you use is much less important than numbers 1 and 2 above.

From the photo, it appears that the roofing material is a low end composition. The folded over piece is evidence that the seal tabs didn't and the wind got under it. The deteriorated condition of the shingles usually doesn't occur for fifteen years or so. Should the roofer not satisfy you contact the mfg.

Find a better electrician. Metal conduit should not be at anything other than ground potential. GFCI's should not burn out when connected to circuits. Something is seriously miswired here. It's good that you pulled the breakers on these. Of course with problems like these, "rewiring" the two dead circuits might indeed be warranted. Frankly, my guess is that in addition to failure to properly bond the conduit, that there is likely to be something touching it. I suspect just gross screwup on the GFCI (like totally misconnected terminals.

Well, that sounds right. Only thing I can quibble about is that might be a bit more water then this tree needs in the dormant season...but if that were the problem I would think it wouldn't have looked good when it first leafed out. High soil PH seems unlikely...I've never heard this tree listed as being especially picky about PH, and there are pines nearby...I'd think they would show signs of PH problems first. However, that one is easy to test...do a soil test. It will tell you the exact PH, and might help you figure out what precisely your pines need in the way of fertilizer while you are at it. Nitrogen burn is always a possibility.
