Tiny flying beetles on Datura....

Does anyone know what the tiny black flying beetles that like datura are? I have found alot recently chewing tiny pin sized holes all over my datura leaves. The leaves are so full of holes they look like minature swiss cheese!

These beetles have hard black shells and are also tiny like the head of a pin and fly away when you try to squish them lol. They seem to definitely prefer datura to brug leaves because the brugs are nearby and they don't touch them! I don't mind sharing my plants with the occasional caterpillar but these are getting bad! Thanks for any info on the name and control of these beetles..
