Looking for a small/medium evergreen shade tree near front door

My house faces West and from about October to February the sun is in a direct line of sight to my front door, cooking my entire entry way. Because the sun only hits in the winter time, only an evergreen will do the job. Here are a few other requirements:

1. Doesn't rip up foundations or concrete pathways.
2. No heavy flowering because the tree will be covering our front entrance and I don't want bees.
3. Preferably little to no mess from fruits or seeds.
4. Has a pruneable trunk so we can still see under the tree
5. Doesn't get more than 30ft tall and 20ft wide.

So far the Strawberry tree and Sweet Bay Laurel have been on my short list, but the strawberry tree seems to messy and I'm concerned that I won't be able to keep the Sweet bay Laurel from getting too big.

I'm open to any other ideas.

Thank you!
