Newbie Q's: venus fly trap and sundew seedlings

I'm new to this forum but have been on GW a long time.

I started these seeds on a very moist medium composed mostly of peat moss and sphagnum, plus a little soil, all sterilized in advance. Now 5 months later I have tiny plants established, VFT's with traps so tiny they look like they couldn't get a fungus gnat yet. All this is in a covered container in low light with medium-to-cool temps.

How should I procede from here? What's the best medium and moisture level for these? Is a dormant period required for either of these species? As a kid I had my share of VFT's, w/o great success, and would like to see these flourish. I've read of some applying weak fertilizer to their carnivores too.

Advice would be appreciated--thanks!
