Horticultural Oil & beneficial insects

ladymarmalade

Hi, all. I just started growing citrus about a year ago and my plants were just devastated by citrus leaf miners and aphids. I read here that you can spray horticultural oil on the leaves and suffocate the little pests. I am just starting to get a flush of new growth and blossoms, and I am starting to see some beneficial insects buzzing around, wasps, ladybugs and whatnot. Here's my question. If I spray the oil to deter the leaf miners, will it get rid of the good guys too? Should I just take my chances and let nature take it's course and not spray at all and hope for the best?
