Ponderosa Lemon Tree Help

I have had a Ponderosa lemon tree for 10 years. I live in Central Kentucky and bring the tree inside during the winter. I have lived in Kentucky for 6 years. This year, when I brought the tree in, it flowered, bore fruit, and after about 3 weeks the leaves started falling off. It only has 3 leaves left, and they don't look too good. I removed the fruit, as well as some of the dead branches, and I repositioned it so the 3 remaining leaves can get the most possible sun light. I also have a flourescent light that is supposed to be for growing plants and have it set on a 12 hour cycle from 7 am to 7 pm. I also have 2 orange trees that are doing just fine. I water them once a week, and feed them when I bring them in for the winter and again when I put them out for the summer. All the trees bloom and fruit after feeding.I use 1/2 of a citrus and fruit tree spike fertilizer I bought from Wal-Mart. Is there anything I can do to save the lemon tree?
