I have a lot (probably 100+) of fresh seed from my plants from this fall's pods. Anyone interested in trading for some hoya cuttings? (Online pic for reference only) Thanks, Kathy
This is how the vines look before and after the little pipevine cats have had a go at them. In fact, if you look closely, you will see a couple of late stragglers in the center of the second photo. This small patch has a lot of individual vines. The little vines won't self twine on supports and in my experience, they only grow about 36 to 48" in length. In my growing zone, I give them very early morning sun and as they're growing in a raised bed, they are watered frequently. Lots of little blooms throughout the growing season and it appears to me they pretty much all set seed. I tried growing them in hanging baskets and although they grew well, I had to water once or twice a day during the hot days of summer. Decided that was too much work so planted in ground. I initially worried they would freeze in the ground here but some, so far, have always come back. ... Mary
