Help to ID late instar and chrysalis

Hi everybody. I've never posted here before, but I've had no luck with my quest so far, and I KNOW GWeb folks have the where-with to answer most questions!

I've been taking my yard back from the Chem-Lawn previous owners for the last three years. Now I have regular bird visitors, and with some judicious plantings (Passiflora and a whole SLEW of G. fritts!) I'm getting more and more insects and benificials.

I found this critter gliding up the wall last week!

When stroked with a leaf, this cat constricted his nethers and puffed up his uppers...

Also rearing away from the wall. {{gwi:552219}}
Next day I came out to a Chrysalis safety belted onto the stucco...

It has been suggested to me that this might be a Giant Swallowtail, but to my eye, this doesn't have enough white (in the bird poo) to be a GST. On the other side of the equation there is a Moro Blood Orange just below where it climbed up!

If anyone is familiar with this cat I would so appreciate an ID!

Thank you for any help you can offer.
