It doesn't look to me like the "moth" blocker is nearly big enough to accomodate a healthy broccoli, cabbage, etc. plant - it's probably a rip-off for more reasons than one!

This was my first laugh for the morning. I like the Monarch Mesh and Swallowtail Shields, but they'll never sell. Like you said, nobody wants to hurt a BF. Now, moths, on the other hand, we all know what vicious creatures they are. They're up to no good! LOL

I think I might have to disagree about the "Swallowtail Shield" and "Monarch Mesh", though. After all, you could use them on the BF cages. Of course, if they're trademarked, they would probably be outrageously expensive compared to regular mesh...

Another case of someone out there sharing their misunderstanding with the world...Cabbage MOTH?! Good grief! Even my Kindergartners would look at these people with a "Hug?" expression, quickly followed by a, "That's a BUTTERFLY, not a MOTH!"

They've got it all wrong! I think you are supposed to raise cats in there with the plant. It keeps preditors away!

Also, I completely agree with you, Jwink246! It looks like a great cat cage, though I can't tell how big the holes are. It also doesn't appear to have a bottom.

Maybe "Skipper Stopper". Larry, you said a BF blocker, but you could market it as a "Butterfly Blockade"! One that I might actually use is "Caterpillar Catcher". Then maybe I wouldn't have to go out looking for cats to raise, but instead could just live trap them! Hmm, maybe a paiute trap for cats (obviously with a cage rather than a deadfall)?

Buckeye Blockade, nice.

The Fritillary Fence is not working out; at the required 30 feet high, it will cost too much per foot to bring to market, and the staking turned out to be difficult.

Now working on the Red Admiral Redoubt.

Have you tried using guy wires for the Fritillary Fence, Larry? It seems that the whole thing might work better with both stakes and guy wires. ;)

Yeah, making the HPs invisible for the worms would be fine. Now having the HPs invisible for the cats and BFs, on the other hand, wouldn't be appreciated, but the worms would be fine.
The Diana Diverter is coming along fairly well, though I'm having a little trouble with a few parts. Does anyone here have experience with attaching radio transmitters to BFs? I can't seem to figure it out.

jmcat, you might be interested in Tracking butterflies with harmonic radar and attached transponders. To actually control the butterfly's behavior (diverting), you would also have to employ carbon nantubes.

However...
I think I might use that suggestion for other buyers. If I can perfect controlling the BF, I can either divert its course away from something, or toward something (say, a HP). This way, I can provide whatever service the customer wants with minimum installation.
I think I need to either have a major breakthrough on the White Wall, or abandon it: it's constantly needing painting!
The Hairstreak Hijacker is working all to well. I knew I shouldn't have put wasps in there! Fortunately, these wasps are my special remote-controlled model, and I can just press the abort button to dispose of them. I hope the C-4 doesn't hurt the BFs when it goes up...
