Question about Amorpha fruticosa

Does anyone grow this in pots? I've read that it could be invasive, so I'm a little reluctant to plant it out in the ground. I'm glad that I have it though because it hosted Silver-spotted Skippers this year, which was a new cat for me. If I can raise it in pots, I wonder how big they should be?
