I'm planting 2 saracinia and 2 sundews in a mini bog garden outside. I'm using 1/2 "play sand" 1/2 Canadian sphanum peat. I know I have to pre-soak the peat and wash the sand. My question is, is there any particular WAY the soil ingredients should be mixed? Should the sand go on the bottom and the peat on the top?

Any advice would be appreciated.
