Comments (10)I'm in wv and grow many different kinds of hardy cacti, agave, and succulents. I have some larger varieties like cholla. A couple of my padded opuntia get pads about a foot long. Fall isn't the best time to plant cuttings, but you might have success if you shelter them a little this winter Where in PA are you?...See MoreSucculent ID
Comments (7)JA, That is Kalanchoe tomentosa - there are also several cultivars on the market. It might be an Echeveria, it might be a Cotyledon. It might be an inter-genetic hybrid - Graptopetalum x Sedum - that New World Family of the Crassulaceae interbreeds easily. That white powder is there for a reason - to protect it when it's in full sun - these farinaceous plants should be handled by the leaves as little as possible in order to retain that 'bloom'. That could be a Graptoveria (Graptopetalum x Echeveria) or another mix. I would say that's a nice Echeveria agavoides. Incorrect - it's the variegated Portulacaria afra. And you're welcome!...See MorePlants Labeled Incorrectly
Comments (38)The same plant has been named several times. The first name published is the valid one : xPachyveria 'Powder Puff'. There is a rare and beautiful variegated form : http://www.google.fr/imgres?imgurl=http://www.xericworld.com/forums/attachment.php%3Fattachmentid%3D4300%26stc%3D1%26thumb%3D1%26d%3D1328500789&imgrefurl=http://www.xericworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t%3D2916&h=600&w=800&tbnid=0sNXg7oYf2RBPM:&zoom=1&tbnh=90&tbnw=120&usg=__phoemgUuUrtoDg3XBsgbuNlqcWw=&docid=88peNb3TxGTVSM...See MoreRelated Professionals
