Welcome to the brug (and datura) forum. Those seeds are sure hard to pass up especially in the winter when they are throwing those photos at you lol! I have some purple ballerina datura that I kept going overwintering in the greenhouse for about 4 years. I kept them in 1 gallon pots and they would just bloom thier little heads off every spring-fall. Never got much over a foot tall. I finally composted them. It was kinda fun to try keeping the daturas going instead of replanting every year. The ballerinas are my favorite.

Karyn1. I am VERY late to THIS party, I hope you get a notice that I am posting this. Do you still grow this 'Box of Chocolates' datura? I cant find an email address to contact you, so I am posting this PLEA here. I am trying to find these datura seeds, along with another one, that I CANT buy off Ebay either, from Canada, for some stupid reason. But I JUST found out about these Box Of Chocolate daturas, and was hoping you might still be growing them, and have seeds to sell? I am in south Fla. and the other ones I want, from Canada, for some reason ,they wont sell to anyone that lives in Fla. or with a zip code that starts with a '3'! And i am in 33309. I have plenty of the common double purple/white one, and I have some double yellows, I do have those seeds. BUT if you have seeds of this BOC, I would LOVE to get my hands on a few! Can you let me know? They grow so well and fast here, but i cant get any good colors. And this one is odd and beautiful..just what I love. Any chance you have some seed? PLEASE let me know. Very nice Karyn! As are your other pics. Your work with your flowers must certainly be rewarding for you now. Metels produce deformed pods very often. Had you looked inside the BOC (yes, it is a mess in there) you would have seen 4 stigmas. The pods will produce seeds (you should have time) and as the DNA has been previously cracked, there is a possibility that each pod segment would produce different flower types next year. Glad everything made is safely, Teresa. Did they both come the same day? Wow...I had them mail the berry box nearly a week before I mailed the rest. Hopefully those chocolates didn't melt into a puddle on the way. I hope you enjoy everything. And the tourist books were from our Chamber of commerce and are packing. Yes, packing!
