Yes, I do have some epies, recovering from winter neglect so they aren't real pretty right now as I let them go pretty dormant in the gh over winter, but they're rooted and healthy. Have some of the zigzag/rickrack rooted too. I also have some nice jades and some jade/Hobbit. I need to take a pic of my Hobbit Jade, it just gets prettier and prettier and I whack it back so it has a nice sturdy trunk. There are a couple very small pink syngoniums I'll bring too. Sorry, no blackberry lilies, I think they maybe got buried under some mulch, so not sure if they'll make it back. Had a nice surprise when I went to the gh, there's a jasmine blooming, smelled it before I saw it, Mmmm... Better get back to it, lots to do. :)

Thanks to everyone who made it to the swap Saturday -- it was a great time! We had perfect weather, and wonderful food. Thanks to Denise and Jennifer and Linda, Kim and kin and the Terris and everyone else! We had some wonderful plants -- I picked up some great starts of spirea and lilac, enough lambs ears to cover a troublesome slope at work, and several 'new-to-me' plants. Thanks to Jennifer for the "Twist of Lime" hosta -- I know just where I'm going to tuck that into the garden! Whoever brought the beatifully patterned prayer plant -- it's already potted up and in the (indirect) light of the upstairs the bathroom. And the bag of perennial wildflower seeds are ready for a late night trip past some abandoned lots -- prettifying my neighborhood one handful at a time..... Best of all, it was a lovely afternoon sitting around the firepit (thanks, David!) chatting with fellow gardeners about plants, food, dates -- and everything else. Looking forward to the srping swap -- andthe next fall swap as well!

Hi All, Two days until we gather and I am excited. I hope anyone reading this will feel free to drop by even if you do not have many plants or seeds, and I guarantee you will go home with some new garden growers. Some door prizes including a "grand prize" and some little give-aways should add to the fun. I am packing a sandwich & a drink and bringing a dessert and a salad to share. Would everyone who plans to come to the swap please try to answer this question: What would you REALLY like to take home from the swap? Charlotte Fall Plant Swap, 2018 Sunday, September 23, 2pm Trinity Presbyterian Church 3115 Providence Road Charlotte, NC 28211 We will meet at the back of the parking lot, in the grass, at the picnic tables, in the shade. Please bring a table if you can! We usually run out of space ! Bring any and all plants you’d like to find a new home for. Split some overgrown perennials, bring cuttings of favorite plants/trees, etc. Houseplants, other gardening items and seeds also welcome! If you can, put a simple label on your plants stating what they are, so forgetful gardeners won’t forget what they have before arriving home . The Plant Swap is free. If you feel inclined, you may leave a donation that will go to the church for letting us use their grounds. We hope to see you there!
