ot: potd: happy tgif to each one of you

good morning friends and forum members

Got to get Maddy ready for school and after I get home it is watering time.

So let me show you what happened to the jewel of Opar the other day when I watered.

It was a LOT prettier standing in front of it and seeing the sun make each waterdroplett shine like a rainbow.

Good morning all. Wow Lucy, those 4 o'clocks are beautiful! I have a few whites and some hot pink. There's also some with mixed coloring in a half-whiskey barrel, but they are covered by the huge cardoon plant.

Eloise you got NO idea how much fun this new computer is. Because...it is SO fast in loading everything lol. Wasted half my life on WAITING with the 2 old ones. In a way it is a blessing that they broke. I just do not like it that I lost everything I had ever done on the computer over the last 10 years. did not safe anything that time around :-( the fun with Maddy is already over. She moved like 30 minutes away from me. So we went back to the after school pick up and Oma taking her back to school in the morning. But we did have fun. Even thou we only watched Bedtime stories. She was real tired yesterday. Eloise the most fun is, that I can write letters again and print them. I missed writing my mom lots of letters to cheer her up. I just have no clue why the printer is not letting me print out 4x6" sized photo paper :-(( Enough already. I only ask one more thing. Was already at the Bromeliad forum, but have not gotten to a thread yet on how to take care of them and what they like. Any help would be great before I need to go google. Lucy

Haha. too funny. My dog used to eat everything too. I've seen entire action figures in his stools! Lil bros never picked up their toys so he did it for them. I love those fuererro rochers (sp? the chocolate balls with the nut in the center) Danielle bought me a ~32 count box. I went to chic fila. When I got home he had opened the box dumped them all out and miraculously removed each individual ball from its foil rapper and ate them all! I reckon he loved them too :)

Happy Halloween everyone. I am on my way to the nursery close to my home for a seminar on growing tomatillos (sp). The guy presenting is bringing a salsa made with tomatillos he grew and chicken and pork to eat it with.

Lucy, I love Jewels Of Opar, and so thankful Karyn introduced me to it..It is one of my new fav annuals. But now I know for next year..mass plantings.

Very pretty, I'll have to look for those. It rained quite a bit last night. We haven't had rain like that for many months, in fact I think more than two years without a real rainy season. Hope this is the start of normal weather here.

They restored the email they purged, unfortunately, they removed the email I received in the interim. Can't win sometimes.

After school gets out today we are off to Fl. Rain and all!
Jacksonville is only about 2 hrs. Be back sometimes Sunday.

Brenda...roflmao ...that means that when I took THAT picture...I was WATERING. lol and while I was watering I saw how pretty it looked and took the photo.
But we DID get some rain yesterday. My friend ask WHY in the world was I watering in the morning then...well...the way my water thirsty plants are...they are NOT happy without ME doing my rounds lol

Well you all know how it is with rain and it making it into the pots lol

I LOVE it and I thank Karyn also for sharing her seeds with me. Did collect the seeds and I know a few of you ask for it but I have not gotten around to finish off all envelopes and sorting yet. Sorry. If anyone is interested...will you send me a mail...maybe AGAIN too. So I do not have to go dig out who wanted them in the first place lol THANKS

Daniella I have at least one in each flowerbed. But let me tell you, they get SO huge...that 2 next to it or anything else for that matter...gets buried. they do love water too ha ha ha
