So what are ya digging today? I have a couple pieces of Tara Butterfly Ginger (Hedychium), but I'm going to hold them for the General Swap. Not a lot of time left for special swaps now but.... Hey Ya'll, I don't think I'm going to get to come to the plant swap in the morning :( I think I must have some kind of stomach virus and don't want to share that while we share our plants! You all might not like me if you took home my bug with your flowers! I have stuff in pots that I did earlier and kept hoping that I'd feel better today to get other stuff gathered up--but I wasn't able to get out to the yard. I can let you all know if you want to get together again later. Maybe we could have a garden party at my house and I could share my goodies then. Momof2, thanks for saving peonies for me. If you would continue to hold them, I'd love to pick them up from you later. If there are flowers left to share at the swap, I'd love for you to gather a few in a box for me to pick up when I get the peonies. Hi rootdigger: I'm interested in the Oct date although open to others. I will have nursing clinicals from 7am-1pm on those dates so hope the hours will allow me to attend, I"m in Surry County so then would need some travel time. I do have some Ceanothus americanus - New Jersey Tea from your list. They are small seedlings that were ws in 2006 but are still small, maybe this plant is slow growing? Anyway, maybe I can figure out how to get plants to you & others even if I cannot attend.

Hi Susan. I am a HUGE fan of exhibition type dahlias as well as species and cultivars that do well in this area. My yard is not a great dahlia growing yard though so I don't have many in my garden. At the moment I belong to so many clubs that I wouldn't have any time to participate in any activities or meetings - which I imagine is the reason no one else has jumped on this thread.
