Parasites Emerging from Chrysalis

I got a little lucky this week with my camera. A couple of days earlier, I had tied up some parsley branches that had fallen over. When I did, I saw a chrysalis that was now upside down. I decided to leave it alone and just watch it. The next day, while checking it, I noticed a small hole and decided to take a shot of it. When I was ready to shoot, I noticed what I thought were ants at the hole site. Nothing unusual about foraging ants so I shot a couple of exposures and forgot about it until I was examining them on my computer. To my surprise, it seems that what I had shot was the emergence of parasitic adults. The second shot included a few more of the parasites. From the link furnished by Elisabeth, they appear to be Chalcid wasps. This is a Black Swallowtail chrysalis (Papilio polyxenes).

Overall shot w/minimal enlargement.
