Noticed this in the 'Recent Posts' sidebar & had to click because I have an old eMac approx. the same age & screen started blinking out about 6 months ago. Sometimes I have to retry startup several times before it will come on & then screen blinks out after 30-45 minutes of use. If I thump the top or side it usually comes back on(which may mean a loose connection somewhere) Luckily, it's not my primary computer anymore. My son tells me it might also be a bad tube(?) & I am considering seeing if it's worth repairing, since I use it @ work (childcare) for kids to play games & watch videos on. As stated above, linking to an external monitor may be another option. I did replace it w/ a 2012 iMac & love it - huge screen, wireless keyboard & mouse & so much better functionality/compatibility. AND it cost almost exactly as much as my eMac did in 2004 ( & now they can be had for less, even). I feel like for a computer to last for 10 years is no small feat.

LOL, Rosa - I had trouble setting up my iPad, too...I think I somehow bypassed the first setup screen. Took forever to figure out how to tell it I wasn't in Bermuda! :) They sure leave a lot of it up to you to figure out. I finally found the iPad user's guide on the Apple website. My mom keeps saying she wants to buy a new car. Her current car is a 1988 model (I think), and she hates both change and technology. I can't imagine trying to teach her about a new car with all the changes they've made since 1988! My brother got her either Dish TV or Direct TV one year. The guy came and installed all the stuff and left. Well, he may have given her the 2 minute training session they tend to give! LOL Anyway, she turned the TV on, her favorite channel wasn't at the right number, and she called them to cancel it and come get their equipment. They cancelled the service but no one ever came to get the dish and other stuff, so they are still there. She won't even let us unplug any of it because she's afraid her house will burn down or something. >sighsighDonna

I've been experiencing this issue (the need to refresh, don't recall seeing a question mark) on my iPad, not on my iPhone (both access the site via Safari). Nor have I been having this problem on my laptop (an HP running Google Chrome). i thought it was just my iPad having trouble with the site, but an iPad at a local Apple Store exhibited the same issue the other day.
