Beautiful Amaryllis, mine got too tall this year also. Brrrrrrrrrr is right! Here in San Antonio we are expecting the coldest weather in 40 years. We might not get above freezing on Friday! Many of the plants I brought in a few weeks ago are sprouting new leaves. The first hard freeze snuck up on us and I accidentally left the Duranta out and thought it was dead, but now it's sprouting new leaves. Even one small Brug cutting that got left out is now sprouting from the bottom even though the top is shriveled. We'll be moving the Christmas lights over to the plants that are too big to bring in.

Good morning Lucy. No hangover here! But sure have a headache! Was planning on a quit night at home. Setting outside by the fire with DH. Ending up spending the night in the ER with HB having chest pain. Said they thought it was form stress but wanted him to stay. But the hard head checked himself out! He is going to follow up with his heart Dr. Anyway, hope your new years eve was better. Keep me and him in your prayers. I sure hope the worst is over and we have a better year ahead. Mom should be coming home this week. Thanks for the prayers. She is doing so much better. Up walking around, eating and all. Still needs a little walk on the stairs. But getting there. Karyn yes when they ate or slept...they were so cute and like angels ha ha ha Diana I had no choice....Because it was Maddy's Disney vacation. From now on...I go during the cooler season! I opened the door...the humidity hit my body and I started to sweat and it was just dripping and I had to wipe off the make up real fast ...first and last time I put it on while there lol Pam bad thing is...Maddy knows it lol Oh my gosh Kristy...that Ice cream was SO smooth...so yummy. Beautiful Lucy! I'm jealous! Yes they make seeds, that is how I started mine last year. Karyn, I don't know if I sent you seeds, I don't remember if mine made any seeds last year..I thought I only shared cuttings. But I may be wrong?? Too many plants, not enuf brain capacity, lol. I had 2 trees I wintered over, but they didnt make it, and the cuttings I stuck in the ground early spring from those trees, still look exactly the same..they havent grown, havent put on new leaves or anything..they just sit there like they are fake..still the same little leaves as in spring. I didnt fert them at all..maybe that's why. I sent cuttings to a couple people..I am pretty sure Mike was one of them, I think I sent him 2..I wonder how his are doing? I think I am going to dig mine up and get them into pots today, fert them, maybe they'll start growing. I know they def wont make it if I try to overwinter them as small as they are right now. Maybe I can get them a little bigger before the frosts hit.
