Way off topic question

The smartest plant people I know are in this forum so I thought I would ask yall this question. Does anybody know why my dogs keep eating my cuphea? They only eat the Flamenco Samba. I have a couple of others they don't touch. Maybe they know this is one of my favorites? I have 4 dogs and for at least 2 of them this is their favorite snack.

Don't know but maybe if it's your favorite, you touch it more than the others & it smells like you to the dogs. Or maybe it just tastes better like different tomatoes taste different. You could grow them their own flower pot of organic grass seeds.

Try spraying it (or anything else they chew) with Bitter Apple or chew stop. A light spritz won't hurt the plant & the dogs will only taste it once.

Mine eat my herbs. Maybe it has an herb like flavor. I agree with putting it in a pot. I just planted my cuphea last week. So far they haven't bothered it.

Good for you Lucy! Hubby had all my quarters raided out of the jar. I thought he had found a slot machine someplace til he told me he had been using the in the ice dispenser for bags of ice to take fishing. Got a gold dollar coin if you need it. Evidently thats what the machine gives as change if you use bills thus all the missing quarters.

I was surprised by the verdict but sort of relieved in a way. Had the state charged her with a lesser crime like involuntary manslaughter then I truly feel she would have been found guilty but they went all out for the death penalty and that's where they messed up. Wishing death upon someone is wrong and malicious and in the end is vengeful not justice. Casey is clearly a troubled young woman that must have had a disturbing child upbringing for her to behave the way she did after her daughter's death. I read all the negative comments out there on the web regarding the case and it just disturbs me by the amount of hate so many have against someone they don't even know personally.

I agree with the bitter apple. Or you could sprinkle it with some pepper, lol. My dog discovered my snake plant today, tore it all out of the pot. Didnt eat it, just wanted to tick me off and play with it.
