OK first did I get the ID correct? I bought this guy today at a local nursery that just got them in this week and had not even removed them from the boxs. It was still in plastic in the shipping box and to say the least they did not look good. First I pulled a snail off of it, second it is absolutely water logged and lastly it has some considerable damage to lower leaves. BUT, I'm hoping with the amazing advice from some of you I will save it.
My first thought is to let it dry out a bit, then is it OK to cut off the damaged leaves? Should I cut them close as I can to the stalk? How long til I should repot this guy and should I wait to remove the leaves?
All advice is greatly appreciated. If I am missing something I could use that information too.
