I SP'd it and the roots look great? What do I do?
Comments (1)Put it in a pot and see what happens. Are there any other roses in the area, and if so, how are they doing? What kind of sun was it getting? How were you fertilizing? Bananas and grounds are not enough to feed a rose. Some plants are just not good, but some just need a jump-start....See MoreYellow aphids on butterflyweed
Comments (13)I can not cut my milkweed down or back right now. Mid to late September is peak Monarch season for my area. It is so covered in bugs right now that spraying wouldn't even be beneficial - would take me forever. And, I have little tiny cats in the middle of all these bugs. So, I have decided to be proactive by... putting all of the cats I can find in my screened in b-fly enclosure and cutting pieces of milkweed daily, examine the cuttings for bugs and eggs, spray them well to remove bugs, and place the stems in water in my enclosure for the cats to eat. If we weren't expecting constant rain and cold for the next several days, I would just move them to my one good milkweed which I don't understand why it's not covered in bugs yet. I also read somewhere that ladybugs eat b-fly eggs? Anyone know the truth on this one? I haven't seen any ladybugs around. What about any natural detourants (sp) for aphids like other kinds of plants or something? My dill also has little tiny green bugs that may be aphids, but they are green... hard to see on the plant, but if you look for them, you see them. But... my dill is not dying from them and it's not a problem right now....See MoreButterflyweed pods
Comments (6)foxy_2008, Instead of picking them from the silk by hand, do this: Put the silk&seeds into a large ziplock baggie and seal it closed. Press your hands on both sides of the baggie, and rub around in circles like you're washing your hands. Do this a bit, repositioning your hands here and there, and there you go! Seeds will have dropped to the bottom of the bag, and you can pull the fluff out from on top....See MoreHelp...just moved in & dont know what to do w/ Dinning rm & Great rm
Comments (5)It's feasible that you should be able to place your three seat recliner facing the fireplace and then you can add the dining room table in the dining room. We might suggest placing the bench to the back wall, adding a rug, and getting a nicer chandelier. Then add some artwork and sideboard underneath it. If you desire more help with your dilemma we might advise you to look to our designs we have included below. Are you thinking of adding a TV in the great room? If so, we might suggest placing it to the left or right of the fireplace over a console....See Moreroper2008
