This is my first year with what seems to be an infestation of Red Milkweed Beetles (not milkweed bugs (Oncopeltus fasciatus)-those I've had and can live with). They first showed up on a swamp milkweed, but have moved onto the many of my common milkweeds.

They have done damage to the plant; it became wilted and the leaves have been damaged. Unlike milkweed bugs, that are seed feeders.
My main question is to kill or not to kill?
It's a shame they don't eat aphids...
