Photos of wild Tillandsia utriculata in St. Petersburg, FL

My SO and I recently took a trip to Sawgrass Lake Park in St. Petersburg, and took some pictures of the giant air plants that grow there. Both of these photos were shot from the wheelchair-accessible boardwalk that winds throughout the park. Winter is a great time to see these T. utriculata because their host maple trees have lost all their leaves and they're very easy to spot.

I searched the forum for any other mention of Sawgrass Lake Park, and was surprised to see none. If any of you brom heads or general nature lovers are in or around the Tampa Bay Area, I'd recommend checking it out. It's a great nature park with tons of wildlife.
