Cat, I don't even know how many times I have put leaves down but it is always exciting to see those little mouse ears stick out of the dirt. I don't have any this year but have raised them in the past by cutting twigs and sticking them in yogurt containers filled with water.Another way is to use larval sleeves made of remay cloth.You can buy a roll of it at Lowes,then sew 2 lengths of it together,leaving one end open (like a giant sock.) Carefully place it over a branch and tie the open end at the bottom...after putting the cats inside of course. Dan

That would be cool, Sandy. I am having such fun watching the butterflies. What I have most of are the Painted Ladies. I see a Monarch or two each day. They usually don't slow down for me to take pics, and today, some Painted Ladies were chasing the Monarch when it would come close to the butterfly bush, but then all of a sudden, they quit, and it spent quite a bit of time on it, and let me take its pic. I'm trying to remember if I saw some checkerspots the other day, or dreamed I did. I'm still not sure. LOL Sue

Rita, Russian Easter is listed as having rebloom and extended bloom. I've never had it rebloom (but not many DLs rebloom for me) but it surely blooms heavily for a long period of time. It started on June 23 this year and still has at least a week's more buds on it. It goes with everything in the garden and is always photogenic. Here's another RE pic for your enjoyment:
