I planted all the calla lily seeds that were given to me. So now seeds right now. But maybe later. Are you starting out with them or do you just want more?

I had to bring the Canna seeds/seedlings in the house today so they get some light. Before I only brought them in for the night to be warm. But with the rain and storm I will not be able to take them outside until probably day after tomorrow.
Have your seeds germinated yet?

Im new to Calla Lilies, never saw them in Trinidad! I got about 10 seeds from a trade earlier this year, but only one grew. Im not sure if it is the conditions or what? But that one has given me hope! I heard callas can grow in moist soil and some places of my garden are moist.
I want to try growing some more calla seeds. I think my garden could use a few varieties of Calla! :)

Lucy please save some calla seeds for me when you collect from your callas.

And yep i am studying! Dont worry i will do great in exams tooo! *fingers crossed* :)

I'm pretty sure I still have some left. They are mixed colors. Too bad I can't send plants. I have about 2 dz calla seedlings.

Karyn isn"t that the truth. We would have Siam's garden growing with all sorts of things in no time :-)

Now I can not remember diddly squad. But for some reason I am thinking that the calla lilly seeds might need COLD treatment before you plant them. Karyn am I right or halucinating (sp)?

Of course if I ever have seeds that I know you like, I love sharing with you. Here comes another questions : Are the seeds from you all from ONE and the same Canna? Just trying to figure out the odds lol

Callas don't need cold. They can't take cold. lol. I just soak them overnight and stick them in some soil. They are fairly quick to sprout. They start forming a little bulb and bloom in a couple years.

Lucy, the hibiscus seeds you sent me, they are growing great! The daturas have been a bit slow to germinate, but a few started to grow this week! :) thanks
The canna hybrid seeds i sent you are actually from 600 can hybrid seeds i have all mixed up in one bowl from many canna plants. So the range of colours and variety is very wide! Of course i wanted you to get a whole lots of pretty different cannas Lucy! :)
