I also use Photobucket...it's free & it's great! I use the option for posting a clickable thumbnail, as illustrated below. Thumbnails are very helpful for people who are on dial-up modems cuz they don't take so long to open. To view the pic, you simply click on the thumbnail & it enlarges...then move your cursor to the lower right corner & pause a moment; a small enlarger button appears. Click on that & the pic enlarges again, giving you the sharpest image. The fully enlarged pic below will measure 640 X 480. Here's how to do it: Select the desired image in your Photobucket album and click the small empty box below the pic's lower left corner. Move the slide bar (on the right) to the bottom and click on "Generate HTML and IMC code" A new display will open with 4-5 options. Use the FIRST option, which is labeled: "HTML clickable thumbnails for eBay, Live Journal, My Space, etc. - recommended" Place your cursor at the beginning, highlight the ENTIRE contents of that box...then right-click it and choose COPY. Now move into the GW thread you want to post to. Right-click inside the "Message" box and you will see the code attached. Click on "Preview Message" ... if you followed the directions, you will now see the actual picture instead of the coding. You can add any text either before or after attaching the photo. Patrick

I think it's a great idea! I may have only been on this site for a mere 5 days or soi, but I've browsed around enough to know the ins-and-outs of gardenweb and find it difficult to go from one exchage forum to the next simply tp see whats up for grabs, imasgine if I truly wanted something and posted.I know that I've been searching for some nice ghost wood or other nice woods from places other than black jung;e and would like some really really nice, terratium appropriate broad-leaved lpants and orchids for the one I'm making now, but when I went in serch I realized that the majority are extremely large and too waterintolerant or the like. Not to mention most ferns in the fern exchage are staghorns. If I wanted one of those, I'd get it from my backyard, but I'm not in need of one.hell if there was an exchange here I think it may even be as easy as saying " I need large plants for my WTFs(white's tree frogs) and possibly get a few good offers. Gardenweb doesn't have an "upload video" feature so really there's no easy way to do it. Youtube provides HTML5 embed code but it uses the "i frame"(without the space, even the word is blocked here) tag which is blocked in the forums(although not in your "my page"). I don't know of a site that allows you to upload a video and provides code that uses the HTML5 "video" tag. But I really haven't searched, maybe one exists? Even then, the video would only be visible by those using an HTML5 capable browser. So yeah, it's possible but neither easy nor reliable, at least not yet. Internet Archive's player requires either JavaScript to be enabled or a modern browser that understands the HTML5 tag. Christmas Comes But Once a Year (1936), Public Domain. I posted on the sewing forum, but will repeat it here. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to get out the old crease and the best you can do is cover it. A row of lace or a trim in a coordinating color. If you can't get the crease out and don't want to add a trim, the only other thing that comes to mind is to cut it away and sew the two pieces back together. Yes, it will shorten it a bit, though.
