Daffodils in full bloom and the hostas are starting to Grow

Well I just wanted ya'll to know that not all of us are having cold weather. Here in the Piney Woods of East Texas things are really starting to pop.

I have several thousand daffodils blooming their little heads off. I have several different shades of yellow and they look so cheerful planted everywhere. The paperwhites are also blooming and they smell like heaven oh so very sweet. Hey, someone was going to share a few pink daffodils with me but I can't remember who it was for the life of me.

Anyway, I have several of my irises starting to bloom and all the fruit trees are in full bloom too. It's beginning to look a lot like Easter when all the bulbs are blooming and bringing in Spring with a BANG.

Yesterday we went over in the neighbors pasture and dug up over 1,000 more daffodils. I planted most of them late yesterday and earlier today. We will go back and dig up about 10,000 more to go in all my new beds, around all the other trees, and new paths. Nothing says Spring like thousands of bulbs all blooming at the same time. I think I forgot to mention all my daylilies are up too. Not blooming of course but they are awake.

Well I just wanted to cheer some of you up and let you know that some of us do have a few things blooming. Oh and Edna as a beautiful tree blooming....

Cheer Up, Spring is in the AIR.....

Happy Gardening, Marian
